This one fights back

And taking down a bear with a pointy stick? That's got some potential for bad things happening too.

I'm only for hunting in that line of photos, but lets think about it. Nick Diaz is a vegetarian, fail drug screen. Jake Shields a vegan fighter, a very overated fighter who can't compete with anyone over 170. Also if you just type in successful heavyweight vegetarians, you don't get any they are all under 180 and none really look that good or that successful.

In fairness although I stop short of calling them holes, I rag on vegans and vegetarians almost incessantly so I'll take that one.

Since that only leaves the calf roping picture, I guess I know where you stand on the sport of rodeo.

Why can't people be constructive about their own style as opposed to destructive about the style of others' when trying to put their point across!

This sums that sort of person up...

Sorry buddy its more bull fighting that I'm against then anything else. I've actually been to a rodeo before and had a good time, but still not sure how I feel about it yet.

The bulls you see at rodeos are "athletes". Many bulls have more noteriety than the cowboys that ride them, they are famous. The rodeo stock is treated better than most 16 year old girls treat their prized pony. They are the life and blood of the stock contractors and they take great care of their property. They recieve top veterinary care, good quality feed, they make sure they arive in plenty of time to give the stock enough time to get accustomed to their surroundings and relax after the long truck ride, many bulls are worth thousands and thousands of dollars, and they are treated with the utmost respect by the cowboys. Now compare that to the beef on your dinner table.

Thanks you for informing me from your point of view, but I still need some time to think about it. I know its not anywhere near as bad as other sports involving animals but I'm still not sure if I can justify it. Though I am on the border of that one, I'm just not informed enough to really say wheather I'm for or against it yet. Also trust me if I could afford to I would be eating organic/grassfed/chemical free/humane/free roam beef, but I can't so I'm stuck with kroger 90/10 beef.
