Frequent eating is commonplace in bodybuilding and to my knowledge it has never let a bodybuilder down. There is often a heated debate on this topic because some people view all bodybuilder meals as complete meals, when in truth many are smaller-ish snacks. The side against frequent feeding will often smash it against the rocks, yet when you question them you find they are eating (meals plus snacks) at least 4x a day. Some of this divide in this debate is merely over semantics.

My opinion is this...most everyone eats more than 3x a day when you include snacks. If you're going to snack, why not eating something healthy with protein.

I have found that when cutting, more frequent protein and BCAAs are very beneficial. It has been the difference between muscle retention and muscle loss.

^ So true.

I think pepperoni sticks are a very good snack to carry around when you are on a low carb diet.

Just the way I kind of feel towards such a structured diet. I say, eat when you're hungry. If you have a proper diet, you won't be having too much difference from one day to the next. The right foods will keep you feeling full, as well as providing your body with the nutrition it needs, and wants. If you need a snack, that's different. Just be careful of what that snack is, and you shouldn't have a problem..
