Vitamin D Supplementation
Is it true that vitamin D will boost testosterone levels and give me more strength? If so what should I aim to get in my diet a day?

I also sup my D3 and noticed a difference. BUT there is no set amount to supplement. It will be based on were you live for your dose. Living in WI my dosage is higher than per say some one in FL or Cal. ;)
Look up how much D3 threw the sunlight your area gets and then go from there. |
Sunlight > supplements, but if you cant get enough sun, make sure you get D3 and do what Rich mentioned.

I've read of people taking anywhere from a simple 5000mcg daily, to upwards of 100,00mcgs daily. Obviously, there must be a risk from taking so much of anything. But I've been taking about 20,000mcg daily, and haven't really noticed anything. I've been doing so for close to 3-4 months, maybe longer. I don't plan on buying more when my bottle runs out.
I did give the mega-dosage idea a thought, but I also gave the side effects a though, and decided to drop it out of supp diet. If I notice anything afterwards, I may go back to 10k-20k/mcg a day, but that's unlikely. I'll get mine from my food, and my multi-vitamin.. |
