Love green tea, try to drink some daily. Though, unless you buy some that is decaffeinated, green tea does have a small amount of caffeine. Not as much as darker teas and the amount is variable. Even still the amount in a cup of green tea is about the same as....hmmm..... a swallow of black coffee. Just my creative guess.

It's loaded with antioxidants and it is good for you. Fat burning? Probably, but I've seen mixed results as far as the research goes.
