School lunches

School lunches in my eyes are really not that healthy. I eat them because I do not have time to pack a lunch but they really turn me off. Has anyone felt this way about school lunches? Or maybe it is just my school that is so gross.

When I went to school, lunches were decent prior to the burger and chips addition to the menus which now seems to be the case everywhere.

No offense, but you have plenty of time to pack a lunch, it takes only a few minutes to make a sandwich and throw a few other items in a bag.

Yes pizza is somehow considered a veggie. Sort of dumb if you ask me. Never was I a fan of school lunches. Usually just packed a sandwich for myself.

Not having enough time is the excuse of the lazy. Just wake up 5 minutes earlier and pack a good lunch.

Getting out of bed in time to eat breakfast is hard enough for me, ,and I never remember to pack a lunch in the morning. That's why I began packing it at night before I leave for work. Since I don't do bread, there's not much that can get soggy. Now all I have to do is remember to take it out of the fridge in the morning.

Packing it the night before will help you out a lot. You can easily make a sandwich the night before and get some cottage cheese or fruit ready.
