Olive oil

What are the health benefits to olive oil? My mom has been using it for the past year or so but I was not sure why she really switched from veggie to olive oil. Is it better for me as a body builder?

That is all we cook with. EVOO is much better than the other oils, as it has lots of antioxidants in it. There is some research stating it helps prevent colon cancer as well.

Olive oil is great but really shouldn't be used for cooking because its smoke point isn't high enough.
