Butter or margarine
Which one is really better for you? I have heard so much and it going back and forth, so I want to know what the final consenses is.
|
I'm of the opinion that either is fine in moderation...like most things.
|
margarine is not the healthy food it is advertised to be.
BUTTER is better. Clarified butter is like liquid gold. |
Margarine is made from vegetable oils. These oils are created in a caustic chemical concoction and the resulting fats are found no where in nature. These fats are structured in a way that the human body is unable to handle well and lead to inflammation.
Butter, especially that made from the milk of grass fed cows, contains much more healthy fats. You can argue over how much fat one should take in, but between the two, butter is the only choice that makes sense for your cardiovascular health. |
Butter Versus Margarine

Bout to have me some butter on my sweet potato. mmm Ain't nothin like it, no where.

An interesting fact that you might not know about butter:
"Margarine is made from a vegetable oil, although when it was developed in 1869 by Hippolyte Mèges-Mouriés in France, it was based on beef fat (suet) flavored with milk." Difference between butter & margarine |

Can not stand margarine. Butter is so good, not the best for you but tastes amazing.
