For instance, I am an endomorphic person (7 points endo, 3 points mezo)...and from my experiments, I need about 300 grams of protein/day, in order to grow. The problem, however, is with the carbs/fats, as without them, you can eat as much protein you want, as you won't grow too much. In fact, eating insanely high protein based meals will in long term, **** your kidneys... The point is that you need to experiment. Start with the lowest number you can think at, and then increase it gradually. |

Several bodybuilders I know structure ratios off somatotype for their clients.
I know little about it myself, but I would be curious to know the reasoning behind the ratios.

I can't portray my opinions about most bodybuilders without stepping on some toes. I'll just say this; there are some I like, but a lot that I cannot stand.

.75 grams to 1 gram per lb of body weight is plenty. You'll find a lot of people who advocate more, but you won't find any real research to back it up.
