I am fat / WD
I am trying to determine if the warrior diet is for me.
I am probably 30 to 35% body fat. I have made some nice gains in the last six months and would like to not lose too much muscle (however weight loss is important right now) I know from my past that eating light through the day is possible for me. I am curious about modifications and supplements that would help with this diet. And i guess any of your experiences would be of help too. |
I have run it 2 ways:
Method 1 Only a few strawberries and a piece of string cheese during the underfeeding. I lost 48 pounds in 2 months, but 7 of it was muscle. I measured bodyfat composition using a caliper. Method 2 Whey in water during the underfeeding, with BCAAs every couple of hours. About 400-500 calories of whey during the underfeeding. I lost zero muscle this way. I have run the above for at least the last 2 years. I am a big night eater and it has served me very well. |
Method 2 I think. Today I was talked into a product call lean pro matrix after I explained what I had planed. I was told that it would stay in my system longer. Got the BCAA'S also.
So that's it, consume these to at the rate of 4- 500 cal a day, and pig out at night according to the book. Will I be able to gain any muscle while doing this(crosses fingers)? Any other suggestions? |

Train hard and fight for progression of weight. This will maximize the possibility of muscle gains while dropping the weight. |
