Muscletech?

Since Muscletech is the brunt of many jokes, here is a question:

When does ridicule become bad for sales, or does it?

Have you ever purchased Muscletech? Do you now avoid it because or it's over the top marketing, or because it is ridiculed? Or do you treat it's products like every other supplement company?

Never purchased from them, but the jokes don't turn me off to the company. CellTech does as I'm not one to pay major markup for creatine and sugar in a single bottle, but MT is in the same league for me as BSN. They're probably just fine, but seem over-priced for the value.

I bought it whey (c wut i did der) back in the dhey (did itz a gayn) before I really knew anything. Thought it tasted like shit. End o' story.

I also avoid supplement companies that over-hype products.

I would say I have taken the negative feed backs and jokes I have heard about into consideration.
Where as I may have at least looked into there products before deciding it was overhyped garbage had I not heard the opinions regarding the company.
I'm with you though BtB, is a company overhypes there product, I tend to avoid them.

You know that Muscletech makes one of the brands that Walmart sells? I don't use it, though I have read the labels and did try the bcaa product (it was not very good).

Yep, too much money for me. If their products were cheaper I would try more of them, buuuuttttt they're not, sooooo I dont.

I think there's a segment of the population that will believe anything they read so that is a majority of their market.

That being said, I'd be lying if I said I never used a MT product. But it was the Original Hydroxycut that *HAD* ephedra in it.

Since then, I haven't bought any of their products, although a client of mine gave me the remainder of a container of NanoVapor that he couldn't finish.

I forgot about Hydroxycut. I used it once for a day. I think it kept me up all night so I stopped suing it.
