Milk if I am taking it in the house first thing in the morning or at night as a meal replacement.

If it is a question of convenience, use whatever is available, like Carl does.
If you're wondering about benefit to muscle building, Milk would be my choice for the added calories. If you are cutting and not counting the calories in milk in your whey protein shake and wondering why the scale isn't moving.....welll DUH! LOL

I mix water and milk 50/50 for taste, my post-workout shake already includes carbs.

I always use milk. It will turn to water on a cut...unless its PWO or in the morning on a non training day.

I went through a phase of water with my whey but now I am focusing on strength, it would be daft to leave out the milk.
