The irony of this kind of debate "The dangers of raw milk" while we freely sell tobacco products is not lost on me. How much more "dangerous" could it be compared to large pasteurization plants which may or may live up the the government cleanliness standards (And usually don't).

Excellent points.
My wife will often ask me..."if such and such is really OK, why is the government involved." My response is usually...follow the money. I am not sure how money is involved with this topic, but I imagine it is...and lobbyists too. |
Were I able to buy raw milk and butter straight from cows and goats, I would. People lived for 1000s or years eating and drinking this stuff. What magically makes it bad and dangerous today? Oh right, they told us it was. I love how the government plans on people's fears and insecurities.
Raw milk is FAR to dangerous for you to drink. Here, have a bud light! |
Hubby's father used to work on a farm and the family always got a churn of fresh raw milk and fresh eggs and they all turned out healthy.
