Is too much Vitamin D bad?
I saw this headline:
Report: A bit more vitamin D is good, not too much The Associated Press: Report: A bit more vitamin D is good, not too much |
Yes for average people living in a southern state/warm sunny climate.
BBers and people in Midwest need more. Colder climates due to the sunlight rays that the body uses to make V-D are filtered out by the ozone due to the increased distance they has to travel. Personally I sup over 10,000 IU's cycled with 4000. I would not recomend this for anyone else, 400 IU's the most out side your foods. Reasons I do= 1. I live in Midwest 2. 98% of the time I'm inside. These rays for V-D are filtered out by window glass just like with the ozone. 3. I don't get much in my foods. For studies like this they need to state parameters they use. To many variables. |
