I have been lucky with protein though. BTB hooked me up with a 5lb jug I still need to order, I got another 5lb jug of on whey and my girl got me 4, 2lb jugs at walmart for Valentines day and

Yeah, I figured it was hit or miss with those. I don't have a lot of money to burn so I just stick with the basics:

-5lb tubs of whey protein (trueprotein.com, though I check for sales at local stores)
-BCAA(4:1:1) with Glutamine (trueprotein)
-Animal Pak multivitamin
-green tea
-coffee
-fish oil
-joint support

I forgot about fish oil.

I've been using AAEFX EFX Pro Kre as a pre-workout lately,. Good value. It's not an NO product, but gives me a lift. 90 caps in a bottle so a 3 month supply. The suggested serving is 2 caps. Either way, for $22 you can beat what you get.

I'm very blessed to be sponsored atm, but when I wasn't I shopped around. If you're smart, you can get all of the above for not much. For example, when I was buying my own stuff I always got my protein at Sam's. I would get 5lbs for $28. I just recently purchased fish oils and gloc chond with msm at CVS for buy one get one for a penny. I stocked up! The multi, beta alanine, and creatine can all be had for very cheap.

I try and keep my supplementation simple and cost efficient. The bulk of my money is spent towards food. Even the food can be bought on a budget if you're a good shopper. I get 10lb bags of potatoes for $1 at the 99cent store. I get 9lbs of oats for like $7 at Sams. Whenever London Broil goes on sale at my local grocery, I stock up and throw it in the freezer.

I'm the same way. I rely heavily on protein powder and ram through 5 pounds quickly.

Just mentioned TP in another thread Tom..how do you like their stuff? Flavors, mixability, etc...

I was going to try MGN, but I read a recent thread that makes me thinks twice. I guess they changed their bulk supplier, and it obviously changed the taste and solubility..and then they gave this guy a hard time about returning a product..
