this subject irritates me like no other. i really agree with the fact that you need to protect the american people from misbranded products. nobody should be thinkin they're takin creatine and get anthirax. but who and the h*ll does big government think they are when they can regulate every little thing a person wants to put in their body. i mean for pitty sakes were not talkin hallusinagenics or cancer causing death sticks. were talkin supps to improve someone's physical well being. i agree ph's and aas have some serious side effects but so do tobacco and alcohol the leading killers in the u.s. but seriously why can they not make the manufacturer slap a warning label on it and be done with it. it works for everything else. cigarettes, booze, cd's have parental advisory labels. none of these seem to need an outright ban. the control they have on the industry should be enuff and they should stop waisting time and money on thinkin of new ways to save us all from something that isn't a pandemic like they think it is. i haven't worked in a hospital but i would guess if i went in and asked them how many people they saw last year for steroid and supplement abuse everyone would stand around shruging shoulders.
sorry for the rant but this subject couldn't get any more rediculous. shut down the companies that have false labels yes.....tell me i personally cannot take somethin to improve myself WTF!! know what you are takin before you put it in your body. buy from a reputable company if you question the supp that much. if you think the supp has a strong possibility of doin to much damage to your liver don't take it or if you do it is at your own risk. no one forced anyone to buy anything, it is all done under free will. once again do i want whats on the label to be in the bottle...YES! but as far as whether or not i have the right to take it or not should be entirely up to me. |
