4-5 eggs each morning are a staple of my diet.
The coffee, well, that's the best part of waking up. |

Saw this thread whilst looking up egg values on the net and also came here! I eat 3 whole eggs every day and love them, every morning to be precise. Since the thread derailed into coffee I have never touched coffee and never plan to, I like some tea though
I drink it with or without milk depending on my mood, they say the anti-oxidants get removed from the tea if mixed with the milks... so ah sure! Anyway eggs, yum, good for you! Good fats!!! Approx 5g of fat, 1.5 being saturated (depending on size of egg) you get approx 6g protein per medium sized egg which is freaking huge for such a small thing and minimal carbs like .6g or so, nothing. Eggs are great for building up or slimming down, however, some slimmers will probably opt for 2 egg whites and 1 whole or whatever but thats down to preference. I'd rather sarcrifice something else with fat in my diet just to eat my 3 whole eggs, I love em <3

I am not really sure on eggs anymore. One minute they say they are good for you and the next minute they say they are not. I suppose if you eat them in moderation they are fine. I do not think you should be eating several at one time, as this is most likely bad for you.

7 eggs + a day. I used to buy into the low dietary cholesterol myth, but my blood work says I'm doing something right. There may be some that have issues with dietary cholesterol, but 80% of the cholesterol in the body is directly produced in the liver. without it, sex steriods (testosterone, estrogen) and other lipophilic hormones cannot be produced. My campaign is against toast and cereal for breakfast.

TESTOSTERONE! The sources that tell you conflicting information every other day aren't sources you want to pay attention to anyways. Go out there and find the information you want, then figure out how to apply it to your specific situation. I eat a high fat, high protein diet. After I train I eat carbs, but the rest of the time I go carb free. The one thing I never go without, though, is dietary fat. I get it every day, I get it with every meal. I train hard, and I want my body to be able to react by releasing the hormones it needs when it needs them. I don't always remember to thaw a steak or some ground beef to cook up when I need it, but eggs are always ready to go and I love them for that.
