Creatine Monohydrate vs. Creatine Ethyl Ester
Creatine Monohydrate vs. Creatine Ethyl Ester
Tell em your experiences with each. |
Creatine mono gives me noticeable strength increases. But it also gives me insane shoulder and back pumps. It is hard for me to stay on creatien for long because workout pain can be unbearable.
I was on creatine mono a couple years ago. My muscles seemed fuller, and tighter while on it, and I did have good pumps. I could not really say that I noticed a big strength increase from it. I was very weak when I was using it, and then I broke my arm. So that interrupted my training again, for about 6 months.

I used mono, and all i got was a lot of water weight, i was about 180-185 and jumped about 10ibs in a week, and when i went off i dropped right back to the old weight, also there was no other discernable effects for me
I have used both creatine mono and ethyl ester. I did not notice much at all from the creatine ethyl ester. With creatine mono I would get better pumps and I feel that it helps me recover faster, but I have never noticed a significant strength increase from either. In my personal opinion I would prefer creatine monohydrate but I really do not get much from either.
I would consider myself a creatine non responder. I've used both and got nothing but the runs and water weight from both.
I have not tried CEE. My friend was going to give me his tub of it, but I couldnt stand the taste. Tried everything to get a better flavor, so I never really gave it a fair chance. Having said that, I really like creatine mono. It's pretty much a staple for me. I used it up to the day of my show and have never had any water weight issues with it.
Creatine Mono gave me the runs and i felt bloated and like shit. Nothing else really.
I use ester more then mono, mono works a little better and faster but it bloats take longer to get rid of then ester, from my experiences.
I need to try EE soon. I once used a brand of creatine that gave me anal leakage. That was good times.
