I'm looking for supplements to help out with this. So far I've come up with potassium and arginine as possible candidates. Anyone have any suggestions? |

From Livestrong.com: commonly used dietary supplements for hypertension include calcium, magnesium, potassium, coenzyme Q10, essential fatty acids, mistletoe, garlic, selenium, L-carnitine, L-arginine, lecithin granules, bromelain, kelp, proteolytic enzymes, and vitamins A, B, C and E.
Strong recommendation of lecithin. |

You can lower your carbs. It will help with sodium retention. Decrease water levels and BP.

Thanks for this thread Ironwill. I too have high BP and am on meds for it but would also like to lower it as well so maybe I can wean myself off the pills. I will look into taking those supplements as well.
