Default Creatine

Is it true that I can not mix creatine with Orange Juice? If so why not?

I have heard it. My guess is that it has something to do with the acidity of the OJ.

Orange juice is fine with creatine. The acids in our stomach are way more acidic.

He is correct. In my case I don't use because water retention issues. However, is very good, (at least in my opinion)[

I think the most important thing is that you get it disolved completely before you drink it.

I've gotten to the point where I just put the powder in my mouth and drink a glass of water.

I am not a powerlifter nor am I a bodybuilder. I just want to be big and strong.

The ghetto method.

Re: orange juice. I doubt that what you take creatine with has much effect. As Ryano says, probably dissolving as much as you can is a good idea.

There has been a lot of hot air expended over how to take it: loading, with glucose, with/without caffeine, in hot vs cold drinks etc etc etc. As far as I'm aware, none of it makes much difference - some methods might mitigate against creatine creating gastric problems (for those vulnerable to those problems), but I don't think they affect its effectiveness one way or the other.

I use to do this too, but later heard that if it's not in solution, your body won't absorb it. It's ez to disolve it if you just use about one cup of luke warm tap water. It disolves and is easy to chug down. Don't try cold water, it won't disolve at all.

Yeah, although I said temperature isn't a factor, thinking about it, you're probably right: it does seem to dissolve better in warm drinks.
