Default Carb backloading question

I'm 38 and my job is fairly sedentary. My metabolism isn't what it once was and I can't eat as much. I haven't bought the book yet but heard you eat sugary carbs. Is there any form of calorie counting or limitations on the sugary carbohydrates?

Yes and no. The book gives maximums based on certain criteria.
