Start out with a great diet plan then supplement what you lack in. Sups are called sups for a reason. They are not meant to be the main source. Sups and taking sups are not a cookie cutter plan as all the mags and some people lead you to believe. Sups are very personal as is your diet/nutrition plan. If every thing was cookie cutter every one would be Mr. O. Do your research it will take you far and help understand what and why. When quality people say "do your research", I don't mean hit the forums and ask Joe Shmo. They mean search the web and books on detailed documented info backed up and proven. I personal know many people that when you ask why they take a sup they resite the package info. Yes Joe Shmo may be a place to generally get started but its far from fact. It may be fact for them but not you unless you are a identical twin with a identical life and nutrition plan down to the min. and gram. If you aren't willing to do the research on a sup, then you shouldn't be taking it.

I agree with you. I make sure that I do all my research when I take a new product. I also make sure that the doc approves of it. You never know when two things you are taking could interact with eachother.
