People on medically restrictive diets due to certain conditions have to drop the protein intake which means any protein found in any food, even the minutest amount has to be accounted for...so, theoretically the body sees all protein the same way, in one sense, but obviously, as already highlighted protein sources have differences in their BV (biological value).
