Pre workout replacement
 

Now that Jack3d is off the market, I'm looking for a replacement. I don't know about all the massive pump and super intense focus claims. But after working all day, it's nice to have a good pick me up before working out. What are folks using and how and why do they like it?

Superpump gives me the trots. Beta-cret is good but I don't get the zing I do with others. The old k-optic gave me the best of everything, but I could not handle the taste. I have tried some sample of the new flavors and they were much better. Animal Rage and Cellcour's products are both pretty good too.

You could also make your own. C4 makes a powdered energy packet, I have found the at Kroger. Add to that some taurine, beta-alanine and whatever else you want. Up front cost is a bit more but you get about three times the servings. I do no recommend powdered L-Arginine, unless you just love the smell and taste of dead fish. I buy the 1000mg tabs and take 3 of those with my drink. Hadn't made any in a while, been well stocked with samples.

Just curious, why did Jack3d get removed?

It contained DMAA which was recently banned b the FDA.
