Omega 3 and fish
What is the best source of omega 3 when eating fish? Like does it matter if I have tuna, or salmon or cod? Which one is the highest in omega 3?

5kgLifter is right, but I think salmon is one of the highest in fat in general and especially in omega 3.

You might also look for some barramundi, Australian Sea Bass, also a great source of O3 and a white fish if you prefer a lighter taste. Also, choose "wild caught" over "farm raised" if you can. I heard recently, " it is no longer 'You are what you eat,' but ' you are what they eat.'

Well fish is a rich source of omega 3, I recommend you Salmon. It is best fish for omega 3 and also other essential nutrition.

Tolopea is cheep as tuna but "wild NOT farm raised" is better than tuna nutrition wise.
Everything listed is great for Omega-3's and if your not a competitive bodybuilder or p/l any of them are great. Don't over think it if your a non competitive lifter/bber. The little difference between them won't change anything for you. If it would, I would recomend Kangaroo meat or bisson as it has more omega-3 than any fish. |
Salmon is great as is tuna and mackerel. Or even bluefish.

My vote is for salmon as well. Never had bluefish though, what is it?

Each type of fish has its positives and its negatives. Tilapia is cheap and a Grady source of low fat protein. Salmon is higher in omega 3s. Read up on what works for you.
