Default the whole egg or just the whites?

I have read on many different places that body builders only eat the egg whites. Is this what everyone on here does? What is the reasoning for this? Why not eat the whole egg?

IMO People will say avoid the whole egg because they are scared of fat and cholesterol is broken thinking that has been debunked in science but not in popular opinion yet. These same people probably have 3 slices of whole wheat toast with their egg whites, gain 5-7 pounds a year, do light intensity cardio for health and will eventually develop a chronic disease like diabetes.

Personally, I've never been able to stomach much egg white and have always eaten the yolks with very little white. I used to trade with my sister, when we were younger, she ate my whites and I ended up with 4 yolks (hers and mine).

I have done both. Years ago I just did egg whites, but now I prefer to use the whole egg.
