I like weighted ab training or using challenging moves, endless crunches are mind numbing for me. Here's the exercises I rotate through:
Standing cable crunches Kneeling cable crunches Janda sit ups Weighted planks (plates on your back) Leg raises Ab rollouts using barbell or ab wheel Dragon flags LtL |

I do kneeling cable crunches on a bench - they let me use alot of weight and i do them for 10-20 reps.
A new favorite is incline situps while being hit in the gut with a heavy medicine ball, its brutal and really learns you to contract your abs under tension.
