Default Training the triceps

What combination of exercises do you believe is optimal for building triceps size or triceps strength?

Heavy pressing from chest and off boards, particularly with a close grip and lots of extensions such as; skull crushers, rolling db extensions, JM press.

What made my tri's take off was Jumbo Sets of Overhand/Rope/Underhand Tri Press downs.
Concentrating on the underhand grip as it hits the Long and Medial heads.

These are the largest and help the most in increasing your Bench press thus allowing you to also increase your weight and strease on the Pecs allowing you to building the Pecs.

I maintain some tricep size from heavy pressing movements. However, I had a lot more size when I was doing direct tricep work in addition to pressing. Lying triceps expensions and pushdowns of all sorts were the big ones for me. Oh, and weighted dips.

I like CGBP, skull crushers, tricep pushdowns and weighted dips to finish them off

thank you, that is a great idea I never thought of.

I don't hit my triceps very hard except when I'm doing the compound moves that recruit them.

Tricep push ups are good, second on skullcrushers and dips.
