-I do think it would help but for what I assume your looking for (building your arch), I think the old benching with the pvc pipe or foam roller under your lower back would work best.
-I did a cycle of MD training under John Meadows and he would have me do these later in my back workout to give my arms a rest and still hit my back. |

Back to doing Pull-Overs. If you look at Machine Pull Overs and the movement of the arm's. Doing a straight bar, under hand grip at shoulder width- pull ups or cable pull downs will give you continues tension at the top of the arc unlike with a Db or Bb. With you not having your arm's locked out streight it will alow more weight with no tension on the Tri's or Elbow's
