It doesn't seem to matter what time of the day, except that generally whatever you're used to seems to work better.
I've recently begun to do extra sessions in the mornings and that helped a lot in my recent competition where I was a lot more awake and ready for early morning lifting. |

i refuse to lift in the morning. my joints and connective tissues arent ready for it and my training usually suffers in some way or another. i lift after i have 2-3 meals or more in my system and after ive had time to loosen up and move around some.
that said, everyone is different. i have plenty of friends that like to workout first thing and "get it over with" but i dont wanna just get it over with, i love my training time, i want to enjoy it.
