Mistakes New bodybuilders Make
What are some of the biggest mistakes that a newbie makes when first starting to train and lift?

Excessive volume and lack of balance are the first two that come to mind, but there are plenty more.

Not focusing on improving their strength.
Going from a 95 to a 135 pound barbell row really isn't going to do much. On the other hand, going from a 95 to a 315 barbell row...now you're in business. Keep strong(er) and keep it simple. |
How about thinking they will get really big really fast? I know a guy who did not know why he was not seeing results in the first few weeks.

They push more than they pull.
They sacrifice form in order to move heavier weights. |

Plus, A big mistake is trying to keep their abs highly visible. You need to eat to make progress. |
Believing anything written in the muscle mags. Most of it is hooey.
