Progression.
Tried Heavy Duty twice. That's about the only out of the box system I have ever used.

I start each session with a heavy compound lift. I'll work up to heavy triples, doubles or singles. If I feel good then I may attempt a new 1rm for that lift. After that heavy initial lift I'll finish with higher rep bodybuilding style work, usually in the 8-20 rep range. This is essentially a hybrid of powerlifting training (heavy compounds and assistance movements) and bodybilding training, because both performance AND aesthetics are important to me.

Right now my training style is 5/3/1 I figure I will stick with this until my gains run out. Its perfect for me as I don't have to think too much during my workout.
