Default Calf exercises

What are some good calf exercises that will pump my puny ones up? I hate how they look and they are like chicken legs. Please help me out here.

Knowing that you just need to get bigger all over, the best calf exercise you can do is deadlifts...seriously...deadlifts will build your calves as well as even more important muscle groups.

I have seen a lot of guys in my day with bad calves work hard and still have...bad calves.

If I had small calves I would attack them 2 ways:

1) High volume step ups or high volume hill climbs.
2) Heavy weight, low rep sets. Something like a 10x3 with 30 seconds rest.

One thing I wouldn't do is grind out set after set each year. I can't recall seeing anyone work their way into bigger calves with "normal" approaches.
