Electric abs machine
 

I wish for a 6 pack. Does anyone know if those electric ab machines really work or are they just a hoax?

Haven't even heard of them, but they aren't worth it. Stick with weighted crunches, cable crunches, hanging leg raises, and the like.

I wouldn't spend any cash on devices like that.

This is from almost 10 years ago, but I imagine that they have not improved their machines or proved their claims...

I'm sure that exercise is far superior...and a lot cheaper.

They definitely work.

I have no doubt that they do some kind of benefitial stimulation. They used them on me when I went through therapy and rehab for my back injury. But I eventually moved passed electrical stimulation to actual movement as I progressed.

If that's in reference to what I said I was joking. :p

They're about as useful as a Shakeweight!

I knew you were kidding, just wanted to relay my experience. The PTs only use them until the patient is ready for actual exercise.
