It started at rehab for a back injury. Also, being too skinny and having people make fun of me for being skinny. Now I'm much bigger and my back is pretty healthy, working out is just a habit now.

High school Football. I came is fat and slow but played alright my freshman year. Right after that I hit the gym and started growing. Next season I was the only sophmore on Varsity. I even started.

I started because I didn't want to be a skinny twerp anymore. Then I quit just when I was breaking through and making gains (I didn't see it at the time). Then I started again after a few friends ended up in rehab or the hospital because they couldn't stay away from the bottle. That was NOT going to happen to me. I am so much better for it now - fit, strong, bigger, confident and mature.

Health! After some poor bloodwork, I was given the choice of lose weight or start medications. After 12 weeks I lost over 35lbs and was hooked. Now I want to build a superhero body so that I can be a superhero to my kids and future grandkids.

I started because I was fat, just diagnosed as diabetic, entering kidney failure, liver was giving out, and generally unhealthy. Over a couple years, I've turned things around pretty well, blood work is good, and I feel great. Now I just need a job that pays me to lift heavy and tell kids to get out of my squat rack.
