One good exercise, deadlifts with a thicker bar.

Anything where you hold a damn heavy weight in your hands.

So... deadlifts and masturbating.

I was going to say dead lifts anyways so. . .Dead lifts.

Also, loaded carries. Deads and loaded carries hit my forearms in ways an isolation exercise NEVER could, for sure.

Oh, and KB swings...there's nothing quite like maintaining your grip on a fly-away KB.

Heavy DB curls/pinwheels do it for me, if we're talking about swinging things
But static holds, Farmer's walk, Shrugs, Deadlifts, Rows, these all serve to build big forearms.

Or were you looking for something wimpy like wrist curls?

I am finding that on starting strength my forearms get sore after performing power cleans more so than the deadlifts or chins.Does this mean I am performing the cleans wrong ?
