Welcome to the forum Goat.
Overall your squats look solid. Depth is great. Only thing we couldn't see int he video is foot angle. Just make sure you have the angle of your knees following the angle of your toes and you're good to go.

squat looks great mate, good job. I would echo BtB in saying thqat you need to make sure the knees point the same way as the toes as I cant see whether they do or not from the angle of the camera.
And its not a 'gut' buddy, thats what we call a 'power belly' around here ![]() Carl.

Your depth is solid -- well below parallel. I'm just wondering how much weight that wooden squat rack is good for

That rack is awesome! There's a guy that doesn't let a lack of equipment stop him. Awesome!

I'm with the others, looks good. Because we cant see front-knees and foot angle, just make sure feet are angled somewhat outward and the knees are pushed out to the side on the descent. If that is taken care of... keep on keeping on!
And that is indeed an awesome rack. Reminds me of an old college friend who lifted for sometime out of 2-4x4's cemented in 5 gallon buckets. Always respected the no-excuses attitude of you guys. |

Form looks solid, try to keep elbows under the bar some. Often if the elbows swing out, so will the butt and you will lose the leg drive. Not sure if those are wraps or actual knee braces. If they are braces with mcl/lcl supports that are made of metal or similar be careful. Those could easly break.

Once again thanks to every one for the responses. Its nice to know that all the attention that I have paid to form has payed off.
I wonder can a forty three year old beginner, ever hope to see a 800lbs squat or even a 500lbs squat? |
