Will be adding pictures to the initial thread...

Excellent thread to have a realistic visual target. When the genetic potential threads pop up sometimes the numbers can be disappointing, but this clearly shows the full picture.

Shaun Clarida is my personal favorite. He looks like he weighs 200.

Me @ 5'10" 275. An example of a fat man's arm size. My arms are about 1.5 to 2 inches smaller when at 200-210 pounds. http://muscleandbrawn.com/forums/mem...-steve-arm.jpg |
Some 50/60's bodybuilders, typically not as lean as you'd get today which is why they'd weigh a little more.

a thread of jackness!
|
Wow! Just noticed this. Thanks.

Cool thread. I'd like to see more pics of comparisons at contest shape and off season shape.
The reason for this is simple. All new lifters see those pics at contest shape and they can be deceptive. The muscles 'pop' with the low bodyfat and they are swelled up, have good lighting, etc. When new guys see pics of them in the off season, then they suddenly don't want to train like them because they aren't 'jacked.' They need to see the phases that these guys go through to understand proper training methods. |
