When I read that in the log of a novice my back twitches and I get all itchy. I read "slow bulk" as meaning: Quote:

![]() I just noticed the edit of the 2200 calorie at 5' 10" and 140...LOL I kow what you mean though, the calories are way underestimated at times, I reckon I plough through a lot more than that and lose weight when in "severe" training mode and am only just over 5 foot and female...pre-HP (Harry Potter) film, I had a 6oz homemade-style burger, buns, loads of fries, and coleslaw with salad (yep, more slaw than salad)...and cola and enjoyed every mouthful...then had snacks during the film, some few minutes later

Probably wouldn't be a bad idea, it's definitely needed...people seem to need to be constantly reminded of simplicity, it works, it's easy to follow and little to no enthusiasm gets lost along the way, not to mention that food does not become a chore that way.
