Default Bicepts

Just did heavy barbell curls for the first time in 14 years. Hit 26 total reps with 135 pounds (not all in the same set). I will try to beat this in 2025....

I know what you mean. On a related, but semi-unrelated note, I came across a piece on the internet where someone had trialled the following:


How working the arms with DBs/KBs makes for a stronger overhead press when using a BB, but how using a BB will not permit the same weightload unilaterally; which makes sense due to all the stabilisers that will need to be brought in to play in the second scenario but that have up to that point not been "trained" through the process leading up to the lift, unlike with the first scenario.
