Poll: Arm training?
Whats your best ways to grow massive, strong arms?
|
CGBP for tri's alongside lots of other pressing.
For me high rep' curl variations are all that works for bi's. Low rep's do nothing for growth. LtL |
Good reply LtL, i agree. Also scullcrushers leaves me sore.

Mine grow nicely with minimal direct work. I didn't get much more than elbow aggravation from skulls and wrist aggravation from CGBP.
Pushdowns - when properly performed - and tri-delt cable rows grow my triceps, and 3 sets of pinwheel curls per week for biceps. Heavy compounds do the rest of the work. |
That's a tough question. Without going into too much detail I would have to say the best way to grow massive strong arms is by utilizing proper progression.

I dunno, cos I dont really have massive strong arms. But I think the best growth i have had with them was actually when I hit them with low reps and heay compunds... could have just ben a coincidence and they may have grown even more if I had of had an 'arm day', but guess ill never know ;)

My arms respond well to heavy pull and push movements. Rows and presses.
But I did do 2 sets of direct bicep work this week! I haven't performed a direct set for triceps in many, many months. I am not losing muscle. Not sure I would recommend this for the younger guys. But it works for me. |
Good replys! Bump
