Honestly d- im serious GL AND BTB ALSO, what do you guys say about this, im wanted calf work on mon- full squatting wed, and deadlifting friday, just think about it, keeps it fresh and full of progression, if you guys honestly disagree i wont do it

It looks to me like you are going to do what you want to do. I will go back to a paraphrase of the question I asked in your log. Why can't you just do the routine as it is written? It is one thing to play with the rep scheme, ie go from 5 reps to 8 or 10, but to take movements out is essentially rewriting the routine.

Obviously i can run it as written and will continue to bama, but im just asking sooner or later could this be done but, for now NO IM NOT GONNA DO WHAT I WANT, thats why i was askin for advice not to do what i want just hear what you guys have to say, honestly its not a bad idea as far as i see it after i asked this question i saw that btb was telling carl about this so obviously its not a bad idea, but like i said ill run it as written til approved i can do this, Thanks bama

Coop, The primary issue I would have is that there is not real need to have a day "just" for calves. The beauty of fullbody compound based routines is that you work the smaller muscle groups more than you know. Deads too often can really do some damage to the ole CNS, that is why most folks recommend those only once a week. When you get heavy with them the recovery just takes so long. Squats, while primarily a quad exercise, also work your hams, calves, back and arms. I and others recommend squats more often because you can work so much of your body through them. There will be no benefit, that I can see, to going to the split you mention unless your volume is just so high you are not recovering. At your age and the weights I have seen you using, I can't see that being your issue.
