I am in with Reg Park. Would love to find a Grimek routine, but if Park was good enough to inspire Arnold, it is good enough for me.

I am currently doing a fullbody power density routine, three power sets followed by two density chaser sets. Monday and Friday, Wednesday I work a basic 3 x 5. This challenge is right up my alley. I am good to go.

I wonder, with a few tweaks to my current routine, adding abs, calves and bi/tri work it might fit the protocols.

Grimek was on my mind when I was thinking of classic guys to base programs on. Grimek and Eder were very similer, in a lot of ways.

Both did Olympic style lifting
Both did pure strength training
Both did physique type training

I choose Eder because I was able to find a bit more info his structure, which made it easier to build a 3 day program from. Grimek was very much just do what felt right. The man was a beast!

Grimek was a monster in his day, one of the strongest men in the world. From what I have read, he was pretty much an instinctive trainer. It worked for him, I am not that smart. If I had someone to help me learn to clean, I might give Eder's program a go, but since I train alone in limited space, I will stick with Park's routine.

Okay question for you gl, on the reeves program, where it says dips 5xbw, is this 5 sets by bw to failure, or just 5 dips with bw

My clean technique is not that great so I stay fairly light. I do have oly shoes so I at least have a good platform to work from. I also have two oly bars so it makes moving between statons a little easier.

I ran a light session of the Eder program today andit still kicked my butt nicely. This is going to be fun.
