Default wide/thick/v-taper

Yeah im talking about the back, recently i notice im flexing my back way more than any other muscle, how do you guys train your back, as far as the muscles width and thickness

Chins and heavy ass rows (no machine rowing please!) are also good for width and thickness. (I like to add some heavy bb shrugs too, in the 3-6 rep range)

I have exp. the most development in my lats from any form of a pull up/ chin up... and only been doing them for a short time...

with thickness nothing will beat heavy assed pulls

I stick to deadlifts and rows. I train for thickness, and make my back wide by holding heavy weight off the ground.
