Default Worst advice you've every received?

What's the worst training or diet advice you're every received?

Mine is simple. In high school my coach told us to never deep squat, that it was bad for your knees.

^ That's at the top of my list. I seen to remember a routine back in the late 80's by Gaspari (or someone like him) that was a 6 day double split. I tried it. Fail for sure.

I ran 2 months of the Warrior Diet (similar to intermittent fasting) and lost exactly 11 pounds of muscle.

Low weight and high reps will help you lose fat and gain muscle.
