Default Help me understand changing programs

I don't understand why changing programs every now and then is needed when the new program uses most of the same exercises are the old program. What gives?

The thought behind this, is that people think they need to change things up in order to get their muscle "guessing" or whatevers. IMO if you are getting results and progressing with the program you are doin now, stick with it and ride it for as long you can. Its all about consistency and progression brother.

I only change programs when I feel like my fight training is slipping..If I feel that I tend to throw in some MMA style cardio and fight training..Other then that..I like what I do

I think you have answered your own question. The only change you need to make is to add weight to the bar. There, you have changed your program.

You hit the nail on the head. Changing programs is often just shuffling rep schemes or approaches with the same exercises. You can do this if you get bored but it isn't needed. Progression is king.
