6 ft tall, 290, 28. As far as build, not much of one. I have just started working out again after about a decade, and the last time I was in a gym setting consistently was during football in high school.

If by supplements, you mean vitamins, I recommend you get a check up with detailed blood tests and have a good doctor or dietician/nutritionist recommend vitamins based on your current health per the blood tests. You can waste a lot of time/money taking vitamins you don't need and missing the ones you do.
Common needs: D3, fish oil, B-complex, Vitamin C. I found chromium + b-vitamins to be very thermogenic. If you mean training supps, I don't think you'd need more than creatine. Warning: you will gain some cell volume (water) that may mask your fat loss (on the scale, at least). All the other stuff may work, but is overkill IMO. Things like pre-WO, etc... if you need a strong kick to workout, you're either old or need more rest. A cup of coffee should be enough on a rough day...if not, you are not recovered. If you mean anything else...

Yeah that blood test sounds expensive lol. As of now I am only using creatine, and I am not a big fan of anything with stimulants in it, and I try to avoid anything with high amounts of sugar in it.

My best advice would be not to worry about supps at all. Other than a multi and some fish oil just eat good and train hard. If you haven't workout in a while hit your compounds first (bench, dead, squat, shoulder press, lat pulls or rows) and your isolations second (curls, leg ext., leg curls, calves, pec dec). Work at around 70-75% max rep for reps with compounds and 65-70% for isolations and be consistent on hitting the gym. Train hard eat right for a good 6-8 weeks then re-assess.

i think that would be the right idea, as long as your eating right pounding the weights in the gym you be fine, the multivitamin helps when you dont have time to eat all the correct micronutrients from veggies and fruits, if u decide to develop your supplements a tad further i would recommend
A. A good whey protein B. Creatine Monohydrate |
