For no reason at all should you consider cutting!
Eat clean Eat often and Train your a$$ off! Abs although desired are not what your training should be focused on. You are young and small in stature and any restriction on calories will only limit any potential for growth in any other area. You need to focus on building some true mass and just let the abs come. |

Man, if I was your age, height and weight, I would do as the others have said and keep eating and lifting. If you splurge on eating here and there, no problem - just think of it as fuel to rip it up next time you're lifting. You are at an awesome point in your life for growth - take complete advantage of it!! I wish I would've had the knowledge, wisdom and guidance at my fingertips as you do. Your body wants to grow right now...why restrict it calories? Just try to keep it majority clean and healthy.

Also something worth noting is abs can be hidden in other ways other than body fat.
1. Your skin could be too pale 2. You can be standing in an unflattering ab position ( anterior pelvic tilt ) 3. Your intestines could be full of crap and giving you a bloated look 4. Your stomach is full after a large meal giving you a bloated look list goes on but i think you get the idea |

EAT!!!!! You aren't going to get fat by eating a few pancakes one day. You get fat by eating 2 large pizzas for dinner every night for 3 years, washed down with a gallon of chocolate milk. And even then, if you're lifting, you'll get huge instead of fat. If you were 100 pounds heavier, then you might think about just eating cleanly. But until you hit 250+, just keep on trucking.
