Shrugs up hard ---> Hold top of movement for three count ---> control the weight down for another 3 count

Just a note. Don't look up during shrugs. I think this is what borked my neck in October last year.

I have always liked up right rows either with a bar or with a machine. Also Deadlifts work good too.

My favorite is deadlifts. Do not know if it is the best or not but it is what works for me.
