I liked the article. Made a lot of sense in making some complex things pretty straightforward.

I started out as an idiot thinking ridiculously complex splits were the way to go. Then I had an epiphany and wanted the fullbody approach which then became the only way to go. Then I did got turned on to maximizing specific lifts and that was the only way to go. Now, I'm on to extremely specialized lifting with some bodybuilder elements in there too to maximize growth and performance, etc. etc.

I also always tried to fit some split exercises and some O-lifts or whatever into each incarnation, but bottom line I changed my focus each time and each time that new thing was THE Thing.

I think we all go through stages and those stages are crucial at the time we are doing them, but not necessarily THE thing.

I don't think there is one way. There is simply what works for your current goals or what does not.

if i was going to split it up this how i would do it

primary= chest,back,shoulders,legs .

secondary= abs,calves,bicep,triceps,traps.
