The New Rules of Lifting: Six Basic Moves for Maximum Muscle
I saw this book advertised on amazon. Would you say that you can get a great body in 6 moves? Or would I be wasting my time if I bought it? The book is only $12.

This is actually a great book for someone new to lifting. Alwin Cosgrove's routines will kick your butt and the information in the rest of the book makes it a good primer for a newbie. The 6 moves are compounds we all use, Shuler and Cosgrove just wrote a book simply explaining them. It is not magic, but info many of us who have been lifting a while take for granted. IMHO, it is a worthy investment for anyone to have in their library.

6 moves should be plenty to give you a good strong base if they're the right 6. At $2 a move, its probably worth it.

I have not seen the book, but really for $12 I would say even if it was not any good you are not out that much. And you could always resell it as well.

I never found the book of any use.
